We will send out an email communication and text when we know in advance that we plan to cancel practice. We send a text/team app communication for last minute cancellations.

In reality, coaches are at the practice location every practice day, regardless of weather, to make a last minute decision, so we don't normally send an email in advance. We send a text/team app communication for last minute cancellations.

Oftentimes rain is scattered and it is difficult to determine with certainty if it will impact practice.  We request parents stay nearby in the event practice ends early due to weather. 

Parents can always use their own judgement if they bring their athletes to practice or not.

We will not run if lightning is witnessed or the last thunderclap is heard within 10 miles of our location.

We may run if it is raining (it depends on intensity and temperature.)

We run if it is cold. Dress in layers. Wear gloves and hats and bring clothes to stay warm before and after the run.

We run if it is hot.  Wear sunscreen, bring umbrellas and plenty of water.
